Say no to coat hangers when buying new clothes if you have spare ones at home already.
Reuse
Offer unwanted coat hangers to friends, neighbours or relatives. Coat hangers in good condition could be offered to charity shops or through an online reuse network. Find your nearest charity shop.
Recycle
You can recycle metal, wood and plastic coat hangers in the appropriate container at any Suffolk Recycling Centre according to the main material they are made of (i.e. in the Scrap Metal, Wood or Hard Plastics containers).
Coat hangers made from any material are not accepted in the household recycling bin.
