You will be able to recycle glass in your blue-lidded recycling bin from June 2026 as part of the Better Recycling changes. For now, please follow the recycling information below.
Recycle
You can recycle glass bottles and jars:
- at any Suffolk Recycling Centre
- or at any glass bring bank.
Tips for glass recycling:
- Make sure that bottles are empty and have been rinsed out - you can put any metal caps and lids in the glass bank but no corks please.
- Don't put window glass, light bulbs, reading glasses, cooking dishes or glass crockery items in glass bins and banks, however they can all be recycled in different containers at any Suffolk Recycling Centres.
- Pyrex glass items can be re-used or donated if suitable, it can also be recycled (at recycling centres only) in the flat glass container.
