Re-use
You could give any plant pots you no longer need:
- to green-fingered friends or family members
- offer them for re-use on sites like Olio and Facebook Marketplace
- see if any local allotments or community gardens might like them
- local schools might like them for their school garden or science lessons
Recycle
You can recycle plastic plant pots in your blue-lidded recycling bin.
Some garden centres offer take back recycling schemes for plant pots so check your local garden centre next time you visit.
Please do not put any black plant pots in your recycling bin as these can't be recycled. Black plant pots will need to be disposed of in your rubbish bin.
