Reduce
Consider using scrunched up newspaper, plain dry popped corn or breaking down old polystyrene packaging for posting fragile items rather than buying new packaging.
Disposal
You cannot currently recycle polystyrene in Suffolk. Please put these:
- in your household rubbish bin
- in the non-recyclable container at any Suffolk Recycling Centre.
Note - Packing peanuts can also be made from compostable corn-starch. For more information see "corn starch packing peanuts".
