Reduce
Consider buying products that are packaged in recyclable materials such as tin cans or plastic pots.
Recycle
If the pouch is not foil lined and is clean, it can be recycled in your blue-lidded bin.
Disposal
If you cannot clean the pouch effectively or it is foil lined, please put these:
- in your household rubbish bin
- in the non-recyclable container at any Suffolk Recycling Centre.
You cannot recycle foil lined pouches in your home blue-lidded recycling bin as they are made from a mix of plastic and metal materials which cannot be easily separated using the processes and system we currently use.
